Hi! I was just wondering if anyone out there is Adventures in Odyssey fan? I LOVE it and it's an important part of my life. I was just wondering if there were any AIO fans out there, if you guys would be willing to help me out with something. I'm trying to get the two volumes of the complete AIO Guide on tape so us VI's can enjoy it. i know the first volume is bookshelf and I'm reading it now, but they don’t have ht second. And I Don’t' know about you, but I would much rather hear it read by Chris or even alternate between cast members and get to know their personal thoughts on it. Say it with me people, Connie! Connie!

Anyway, if you guys out there are willing to help me by contributing either AIO stories about how you were first introduced to the world of Odyssey or just to sign the petition I'm going to create soon, I'd really appreciate it. I'll share my own story in a separate comment.
Thanks in advance!
God bless

This adventure began four years ago. I had recently started really liking a Christian mystery drama called Last Chance Detectives.

I was looking around for more episodes to listen to, when I came across something called Adventures in Odyssey. Of course I didn’t know that’s what it was at the time.

Taking a leap of faith, I decided to try it out. I searched through a listing of episodes until I came to one that caught my eye and my imagination. It was called the Chosen One.

There are not enough words I could use that would describe my love for this episode. And it’s not just because it was the first AIO episode I ever listened to either. It’s much more than that. Not only was I pulled in from the very beginning, but I also identified with the main character in it almost completely.

As I continued to listen to this radio show I now know is called Adventures in Odyssey, I started finding other families I related to and liked as well. Mandi and her family became a favorite as well as the Washingtons and Grady and his family, the McKays as well as Connie, who is played by Katie Leigh. I also liked the Jacobs as well as Whit, who is the main mentor figure in the show.

AIO has also had two visually impaired characters on the show who I grew to like a lot as well. Their names were Lisa and Jenny. I identified more with Jenny than Lisa, but I liked them both all the same.

God showed me a new world that night and I never looked back. AIO has taught me a lot about God, His love and plan for me as well as things about myself I never knew before. I continue to listen to it till this day and I will def pass Odyssey onto my children when God blesses me with them.
Well, that’s my AIO story. How about the rest of you out there?

Wow! AIO! I stumbled upon it 3 years ago when I had one of those sleepless nights and decided to browse my boyfriend at the time's hardrive. Looking at the folder name, I initially thought it was about the story of Odessius, (unsure of how it's spelled). I listened to the episodes on the first folder and fell in love with the show. I think it's the best radio series out there and it has definitely made me really think about where I stand as far as religion goes. I kind of stopped listening to the online episodes ever since I found out Paul Herlinger, the person who plays Whit passed away, but perhaps I need to give the new person a shot.

You should. He sounds a lot like Hale, the old Whit. But I'm getting used to him and Paul was the first Whit I ever heard. So far, the Inspiration Station and clutter were my favorite episodes for the new season, along with game for a mystery.

I love AIO and it's great to see a board about it. I've been listening to it for about 10 years now and I have loved every minute of it. My goal is to collect every CD set. I have season 50 and 51 so far. It would be great to see the book in an accessible format.
Have any of you heard down gilead lane by CBH Ministries? It's my second favorite show. There are 12 seasons so it's easier to collect than AIO.

I also love adventures in odyssey. I've been listening to it for about fourteen or fifteen years now. I stumbled on it by accident one day when I was flipping through my local radio stations. I don't remember what the very first episode was that I listened to, but I've loved the show ever since. My favorite character is whit and I also love the imagination station. I wish something like that could actually exist. I recently acquired 664 episodes of the show, all in mp3 format. I know that's not all of them, I'm working on getting more. But if anyone would like the ones I have, feel free to send me a private message or a quicknote. Its great to have a board about this great show.

Hello, it's been a long time since I heard that programme. I first came across it on Trans world radio. I liked it a lot. The way the whole thing was put together, the music and such. My favourite episode was the one in which this angel appears, and things start happening. I can't remember the name I'm afraid but, they were good stories.
